CoffeeApp

Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

CoffeeApp is a coffee logging app for iPhone and Android. This policy explains what the app stores about you, why, where, for how long, and how to delete it. In short: we keep only what the app needs to work, we don't track you, we don't show ads, and we never sell or share your data.

Who is responsible

CoffeeApp is made by [OWNER NAME], [COUNTRY] (the "data controller"). Contact: support@brewlog.eu.

What we store

DataWhy
Account: email address, name and profile picture link (from Google sign-in, if you use it), a user ID, and how you sign inTo sign you in and keep your data in your private account
What you log: coffees (roaster, origin, roast date, notes, flavor notes, status), photos of coffee bags you add, recipes, brews, ratings, equipment, QR sticker links, profiles and app settingsThis is the app: it shows your log back to you, on all your devices
Server logs: IP address, time and the address of each requestTo keep the service running and secure. Kept only for a few days

The camera is used on your phone to scan QR stickers and to take bag photos. Nothing from the camera leaves the phone unless you attach a photo to a coffee.

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don't combine your data with data from other companies.

Who processes it for us

No one else receives your data. Your data travels encrypted (HTTPS) between the app and our server.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your data is deleted from our database immediately, and from backups within 14 days, when they rotate out. Server logs are kept for a few days.

Your rights

You can see and change your data in the app, and delete your account and all its data in the app at any time. Under the GDPR you can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to restrict or object to its use, or to delete it: email support@brewlog.eu. You can complain to your data protection authority.

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and, for server logs, to keep the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Children

CoffeeApp isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. For important changes we'll tell you in the app.
